Charity Ride and BBQ July 12, 2008
Ride for justice for Brandon
On Saturday, July 12, we will gather together in honor and support of Brandon Greisman and his five children with our second Ride For Justice charity ride this year. We know this event will stir a big response and we ask everyone to spread the word and bring as many riders as possible. Coffee and donuts will be provided at sign up. $20.00 donation. Porkies BBQ Lunch special will be available at $5.50. After lunch will ride together to First Baptist Church of Lake Wales to deliver the proceeds and honor the family. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD. LET'S RIDE TO GIVE.
We'll start at the with Coffee, Donuts and signup. Ride north around Wekiva , Plymouth to Apopka and enjoy BBQ at Porkies on 441 downtown Apopka. (you can read a summary of Brandon's Story below)
From Porkies in Apopka, we head down to Lake Wales and meet up at the First Baptist Of Lake Wales and present the funds to Brandon, his wife and their five children.
A REAL HERO- Brandon Greisman-----On December 13, 2007, at gunpoint, Brandon Greisman, father of five, risked his life to come to the aid of two women who were caught in a fire in an apparent robbery attempt by an individual. Despite Brandon's heroic efforts and being shot in the face, both women and a baby tragically died. Brandon and his family now face financial difficulties as he tries to provide for his wife and five children. Please join us for this event in honor of the family and help raise much needed funding.
